I went to Cold Stone Creamery tonight for a little treat, and was so proud of myself! Instead of getting a couple of scoops of chocolate ice cream with hot fudge and caramel (what my heart desired), I got one of their new Sinless Smoothies, instead. Their sign advertises that the Sinless Smoothies are as low as 110 calories, which is great! However, nowhere in the store is there a list of nutritional information readily available, and when I asked the sales person what the lowest calorie smoothie option was, she had a hard time remembering. In the end, she advised me to get the Berry Trinity smoothie, so I ordered in the smallest size and hoped for the best. It was really good, refreshing and not overly sweet, which I expected something with Splenda to be, honestly.
After I got home, I wanted to find out exactly how many calories my treat racked up, but their site is so convoluted that it took me almost fifteen minutes to dig through and find the nutritional information. But I did (after lots of irritation). As it turns out, my delicious smoothie appears to be only 70 calories! So cool – definitely going back for a sweet treat in the future.
In case you’ve been having a hard time finding the calorie info for smoothies on their website, here’s a direct link to the Cold Stone Creamery nutritional sheet that shows all of their smoothies (that I’m aware of) up until May of 2013. If you click through and the link is broken or removed, shoot me a comment and I’ll do my best to find the new guide and provide an updated link. Thanks!
In addition, here are the nutritional sheets/ calorie information for:
Cakes & Pies (and other goodies)
Also, if you’d rather link to these directly from the Cold Stone Creamery Website, here’s their nutrition page.
I’ve also asked about the amount of calories in the smoothies and yogurts, and none of salespeople had a clue. Thanks for the useful info!
No problem – glad I could help! I hate to be that girl at the ice cream shop who’s asking calorie counts, but sometimes you don’t have much wiggle room (or else you’re concerned with not being able to really wiggle later, lol!)
