Help!

Hey there, loyal readers! I hate to be a bother, but was wondering if you could help me out a bit. I’m in the process of opening up shop (all official-like) as a freelancer, and I’ve been slowly working my way towards building a new website and creating my social media pages. As it turns out, I’m about to get thrown into the deep end a lot faster than I’d intended – a client of mine has asked if I can do a presentation TONIGHT to a group of local interior designers. Here’s where you come in. My social media pages are still babies, with no followers. I can’t very well stand up in front of them with hoity-toity advice, then not appear to follow ANY of it. So, I was wondering if you might be kind enough to follow me on Twitter (@WayfarerMktg) if you have a Twitter account.

Since I still have to write my entire presentation between now and 5pm ET, I’m not going to bother driving myself mad with a FB page right now, but it does exist if you were really looking for karma points. Please don’t judge the fact that it has absolutely nothing on it. I’m just winging this at this point, and it will be so much different by tomorrow (assuming I live through this presentation, lol!) Here’s the link to my terribly empty Facebook Page.

No Google +, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, or any of the rest just yet, but I will have them up ASAP, and will include all of that information on my website – Wayfarer Marketing.

Anyway, thank you thank you thank you for all of the love and support you’ve shown, and I really appreciate your help on this. I also understand any reservations, so don’t feel terrible if you end up not becoming a follower/fan. Feel free to leave me comments here, though – I really appreciate your support in any and all realms.

Wish me luck!

Anna

Oh Laura, you’re amazing. Thanks so much. We should catch up soon – I want to know how Mokamoda fared at Jazz Fest!

I could cry, but I only have 30 more minutes to prepare, so I’ll have to save it for later. Thank you so much, Mike!

I don’t have a Twitter but I did “Like” you on Facebook. I hope it helps and that you had a great presentation!

Thank you so very much! It was actually a great presentation; I’m still high on praise, so will probably bend everyone’s ear with a tale all about it 🙂

I’m Nova

I have no “personal brand.” I’m not a girl boss, I’m not an influencer, and I don’t aspire to be powerful, inspiring, or rich. I probably can’t teach you anything, and there’s a good chance that there’s nothing at all of interest or use to you here. This is just where I come to talk about the random bits and pieces that make up my quiet life as a sober woman in her 40s. I’m engaged to the love of my life, have six (yes, SIX) indoor pets, and spend a lot of time gardening and hunting for thrift treasures. I also study classical voice (I’m a lyric coloratura soprano) and am deeply interested in all things spiritual and paranormal. Right now I’m trying to recover from career burnout and even out my personal energy, but my eventual goal is to become a medium and shamanic healer, using music to remind humans of the things that actually matter: connection, community, and loving all living things as though they were our own children. I may or may not talk about all of these things here (and sometimes all at once). Welcome!
